ristina Martin has been directing the First Congregational Church Youth Choir since 1997 and is a vocalist for church services.  Since coming to Cape Ann with her husband and three daughters in 1991, she has taught speech, music, and drama at all levels in the Rockport Public Schools.  She presently teaches in the music department at the Waring School in Beverly, MA.

With a B.S. degree in Education and Communication Disorders from Brigham Young University and graduate studies in Vocal Performance at Boston University, she has enjoyed teaching and singing opera, oratorio, music theater, and cabaret with a variety of organizations including The North Shore Music Theater, The Washington Opera Company, and The Lyric Opera of Kansas City.  (But her favorite project will always be a good ole community talent show!)
